Pinocchio in Giappone

mah!!!!

ciao ciao

(YOU CAN FIND SOME VIDEO JUST ABOVE)
The main reason why I wrote this post is because I found this video from a Japanese Ska band.
would be interesting to know why they called Pinocchio their song :-)

• Canon Kiss F (EOS 1000 in Europa)
• Sony Alpha-200

Canon or Sony?, that is the question...

The first tecnological stuff I will buy in Japan will be my new camera, and this time it will be a digtal reflex.
I am not sure if I will buy a Canon or a Sony (I do not like Nikon) and for that reason I need your suggestion.
I will choose one of the two following entry-level digital cameras:
• Canon Kiss F (EOS 1000 in Europe)
• Sony Alpha-200
The technical specifications are very similar for the two products, but there is some key feature that I think is very important. The Alpha-A200 has an in-camera image stabilizator, and that's very nice since I would have image stabilization with every optics I will use with the camera.
One point in which the Kiss-F wins is in the better quality for images in high ISO values (Max ISO for Kiss-F is 1600 while Alpha-200 goes up to ISO3200), the Alpha-200 seems to have a noise-reduction algorithm which let image look "softer" and lose some detail reducing the sharpness of the image.
To conclude, the Alpha-200 is a little cheaper than the Kiss-F and it also comes equipped with a 18-70mm zoom which is better than the 18-55mm of the Canon product.
You can find more details about the two cameras at the following links:
Comparison between Alpha-200 and Canon Kiss XTi (EOS D400) which almost same as the Kiss F

Please help me in my choise...

Domani sera tutti assieme a tifare Italia .pray

Torniamo ora a noi....

As of 2008, the city has an estimated population of 226 thousands and a population density of 2.357 per km². Whitin Japan, Atsugi is mainly known as a satellite city of the Tokyo-Yokohama metropolitan area; it is also associated with the United States Navy base at Naval Air Facility Atsugi, which is actually not in Atsugi but straddles the border between the nearby cities of Ayase and Yamato.

Among the touristic attractions, there are the Ōyama mount(大山), which height is 1250m and it has been considered as a sacred mount, also because of it's shape which resembles the Fuji mount.

People visiting Atsugi can also visit the Atsugi AXT main tower, which is the most important building of the city. The tower height is 117m and has 26 floors, with offices shops and many things.

The AXT Tower is also the place where I will work, since the offices of Speech Recognition group of Asahi KASEI is located at the 22th floor of the building.

Well, I will definitely talk more about Atsugi when I will start living there....

It is an old news, but I wanted to write about it just because I like Doraemon.
On March, the Japanese Foreign Minister, Masahiro Komura appointed Doraemon as "cartoon ambassador", handing a human sized Doraemon doll an official certificate at an inauguration ceremony.

What else??? I am just happy for Doraemon...

  1. Due fototessera
  2. La pagina identificativa del mio passaporto
  3. Certificato di iscrizione (con materie) all' Università
  4. Lettera di Raccomandazione preparata dal mio professore

ENGLISH:

"Pass A38"

As you can guess I had to produce the needed documentation and send it to the internship coordinator so that she could apply for my CoE. The problem is that everytime I need to produce a certificate, for which I need to go to some office, I became paranoid.
The reason is that burocrazy in Italy is terribly slow and usually people working in offices doesn't do their job very well.

The result is that, if they do not know how to satisfy your request, they will simply send you to another office, in which the secretary will probably tell you to go to another office (sometimes the same office you are coming from).
All was ridiculous because I am studying in a course which classes and exams are held in English, but when I asked for enrollment certificate in English language they said to me: "sorry we do not produce the certificate in English and even if you translate it we will not put University name on it".
You can maybe imagine how much I got mad.

Well, I went to many offices without solving any problem until my Professor helped me, and authenticated the certificates I translated from Italian to English.

French people usually laugh about Italy because of it's problems related to the terribly slow burocrazy.
In "Asterix e le 12 fatiche" ("Asterix and Obelix" is a French cartoon and comic), Asterix and Obelix are in Rome, in which their mission is to get "pass a38" (a certificate) from the "house that makes mad".
Sorry but I could not find the video in English language.

Returning to the CoE, I produced the following documents:
  1. 2 passport-sized photos
  2. 1 photocopy of the ID page of my passport
  3. Certificate of enrollment (including grades) from my University
  4. Recommendation letter from my professor
  5. A letter in which my professor states that the work I will do in Japan will be considered as part of my University studies.
  6. A copy of the contract between me and Asahi KASEI
Well, I hope you could undestand the video and I hope it was fun...

ciao ciao
