Le terme di Hakone (箱根町)

Hakone è un paesino circondato dalle montagne nella prefettura di Kanagawa. Principalmente la sua popolarità è dovuta alle tantissime terme naturali che vi si possono trovare, grazie alla vicinanza del monte Fuji. Hakone comprende anche un lago circodato dalle montagne ed i paesaggi che si riescono apprezzare sono spettacolari. Se a questa cartolina aggiungete il monte Fuji coperto dalla neve avete il ritratto completo.

Lo scorso Venerdì sono andato andato ad Hakone per visitare una delle tante onsen, e con me sono anche venuti Andrea, Jenny ed altri amici Giapponesi. L' unica nota negativa è stato il fatto che siamo arrivati lì nel tardo pomeriggio e dunque non abbiamo potuto apprezzare i panorami mozzafiato. Le terme sono state a dir poco fantastiche ed abbastanza economiche. Conto di tornarci al più presto, ma questa vorrei rimanerci lmeno un fine settimana intero.

The Hakone Onsens

Hakone is a small town surrounded by mountains in the Kanagawa prefecture. It famous mainly for the high number of hotsprings due to the nearby mount Fuji. The panorama you can appreciate from there are just wonderful and is not rare to find an onsen whith nice views of the Fuji mount.
Last Friday I went to hakone with Andrea, Jenny and other Japanese friends to visit an onsen, and the only bad thing was that we got there in the late afternoon so we could not appreate the landscapes. The onsen was just wonderful and cheap too. I am planning to go there again as soon as possible and this time I would like to stay an entire week end.

Benvenuta Desirè

Oggi alle 10 di mattina circa (ora Italiana) è nata Desinè. Ebbene sì, sono zio per la seconda volta.
Sia la mamma che la bimba stanno molto bene, e la bambina pesa 3,45Kg. Questa è la prima volta che mi dispiace essere in Giappone, proprio perché non posso fare un salto per vedere la mia nuova nipotina.
Beh...concludo dando il benvenuto alla piccola Desirè in questo mondo e facendo gli auguri a Nino e Simona (ed ovviamente anche a me che sono Zio per la seconda volta)

Welcome Desirè

This morning around 10am (Italian time), my second niece Desirè was born. Yes...I am uncle for the second time. The mum and the new born are healthy, and Desirè's weight is 3,45Kg. This is the first case in which I regret I am in Japan, just because I am to far to jump and go to see my new niece.
Well...I stop giving my welcome to the lovely Desirè in this world and saying 'omedetou' to Nino and Simona and Gaia (which now has got a little sister), and to me since I am uncle for the second time.

Dentisti: Italia VS Giappone

In questi giorni ho avuto la necessità di andare dal dentista perché un dente ha iniziato a farmi male. La prima volta ci sono andato accompagnato da "mamma Shieri" (la persona che in ufficio si prende cura dei lavoratori stranieri).
Quando sono arrivato ero un pò preoccupato a causa della non conoscenza della lingua e dunque del fatto di non capire quello che il dottore volesse comunicarmi, ma per il primo appuntamento Shieri a fatto da traduttrice. La seonda volta ho scoperto che la mia poca conoscenza del Giapponese era in realta suffiente a capire quello che dicesse il dottore (basta conoscere, ue, shita, migi...e via dicendo per capire su quale dente va a lavorare). Già dal primo appuntamento mi sono ricreduto scoprendo che il dottore il dottore era davvero bravo e che anche il prezzo era davvero contenuto se paragonato a quelli ci sono in Italia.
Per fare un esempio, una cura canalare è costa attorno 7500 Yen (circa 60€), mentre in Italia lo stesso trattamento costa attorno ai 250€ (se trovi un dentista onesto). La cosa migliore ovviamente, sta nel fatto che non mi ha fatto per niente male (nemmeno quando mi ha fatto l' anestesia).
A chi vive in Giappone, consiglio dunque, nel caso avessero male ai denti, di non esitare ad andare da un dentista, e non necessariamente aspettare il ritorno in patria per farsi felicemente scuoiare vivi dal proprio dentista di fiducia.

Dental Clinic: Italy VS Japan

In these days I needed to go to a dentist because one of my teeth did hurt. The first time I went with "mamma Shieri" (the person at Asahi KASEI, which takes care of the foreigner workers) which helped me to communicate with the dentist.
At first I was worring a little, mainly because I do not know the language, so it's not easy communicate by myself with the dentist, but I soon understood that my poor knowledge of the Japanese language would be enough to undertsand wath the doctor was saying to me and he was going to do on my teeth.
In the end I found out that the dentist is very good and the service is quite cheeper, compared to priceses in Italy. For example, a "canal terapy" is around 7500 Yen, while in Italy the same terapy is around 250€ (and in that case you should consider yourself lucky).
I suggest the Italian living in Japan for a period at least longer than 2 month, to go dentist in Japan instead of suffering waiting to go back to Italy, where your favourite dentist will steal you lots of money and probably will let you feel lot of pain.
