  • Sicurezza
    • Omicidi/aggressioni: 9 (bisogna andarsela a cercare)
    • Scippi/Furti: 7 (non so Ange è d'accordo :))
  • Servizi
    • Trasporto pubblico: 8
    • Salute: ND
    • Tasse: 7
    • Impianti sportivi: 9
  • Cibo
    • Cibo giornaliero: 5 (il salmone è molto buono :))
    • Alcolici: 6 (birre molto buone, io eviterei altri alcolici locali)
    • Dolci e torte: 5
  • Ambiente

Denmark: one year later

Looks like yesterday but one year has already passed since I started living in Denmark, and for that reason I thought is time to give some evaluation. I want to make clear that my evaluation it completely personal and solely based on my, still very short, experience in Denmark.
But how would you evaluate a place, a culture and everything that surrounds it? Well, actually I do not think is possible mainly because, again most of the evaluation are biased from the personal experience and native culture of each person. I will anyway try to give some score to things that people care about (at least I do) when moving from a place (city, country etc.) to another.

  • Safety
    • Murders/aggressions: 9 (you kinda have to look for it)
    • Robberies/thefts: 7 (I am not sure Arge agrees with me :))
  • Services
    • Public transportation: 8
    • Health care system: ND
    • Taxes: 7
    • Sport facilities: 9
  • Food
    • Everyday food: 5 (salmon is really good :))
    • Alcohol: 6 (very good beers, I would avoid other local spirits)
    • Sweets and cakes: 5
  • Environment
    • Air quality/pollution: 9 (the low number cars helps a lot)
    • Public green areas: 9
  • Work
    • Work environment: 9
    • Salary: 9
  • Average score: 8,36

Looks like the average score is pretty good. I want you to recall again that these "scores" are based solely on my personal experience and are not based on existing real statistics.
Talking about ranking based on statistics, Copenhagen got the 11th position among the most livable cities in the world. I understand those people work a lot for making those statistics but still I think the best way for deciding which place is the best to live is a very personal thing and cannot be chosen only by means of statistics.
